Website versus Store
The website installer from wps.com/download is what most power users want. 9NSGM705MQWC is the managed path: Windows Update owns the bits. If a second tile appears (including EXE listing XP8M1ZJCZ99QJW), read the publisher. It must be Kingsoft Office Software Corporation Limited.
SmartScreen and defaults
A fresh signature can trip SmartScreen. Confirm the publisher, then continue. Set DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, and PDF defaults on day one. Guide: file associations. Schools should write the Store ID into the lab image so students do not invent a blog EXE over the weekend.
When it will not launch
GPU overlays, leftover services, and broken Store stubs are common. See WPS will not open and uninstall. Do not fetch a “repair wizard” from a video description while the splash is still dying.
Disk and cache
