Prompts
A button that writes drafts. Not a researcher. Not Copilot.
Current builds surface WPS AI beside the editor. Free prompts run out. Paid plans raise the ceiling. Nothing here cites a court or a lab. This site is an independent handbook and is not affiliated with Kingsoft Office Software Corporation Limited.

What it is good for
Outline a dull email. Suggest slide titles. Summarize a long PDF you already trust. Then rewrite in your voice. Students who paste the first draft into a portal still own the plagiarism risk. Teachers should say in the syllabus whether the button is allowed; it will be visible either way.
Quotas and privacy
Daily limits are easier to judge after a week of ordinary work. Do not paste medical records or unpublished deal terms into a prompt until you have read Kingsoft’s current AI terms on wps.com. A free crumb of prompts is not a private clerk.
Not Microsoft Copilot
The names get searched together. They are different products, different accounts, different data paths. Compare suites on compare. If your workplace already standardized on Copilot, do not invent a second AI story for the same files.
What it will invent
Sources, page numbers, case names, and quotations. Treat output as a draft with a known lying problem. If the assignment requires citations, open the actual PDF. WPS AI is a button in the chrome, not a library.
Install path, not a side door
Install only from wps.com/download or Microsoft Store 9NSGM705MQWC. A template pack EXE, a photo crack, or a “Writer full” from a video description is the malware product. See download and security.
