The phone app is a dense PDF reader with a scanner. Install it from Google Play. Third-party APKs are a different binary with a familiar icon. This site is an independent handbook and is not affiliated with Kingsoft Office Software Corporation Limited.
Why the package name matters
cn.wps.moffice_eng is the international Play listing. If a site offers a higher-version APK, decline. Storage and contacts permissions are a policy choice; read them before you grant camera for the scanner. A sideloaded APK with the same icon is a different binary.
Ads and Premium
Mobile skins show ads. PDF extras and cloud still nag. Paying inside Play is still paying Kingsoft, not this handbook. See free versus Premium. An “ad-free APK” is malware weather.
Sync
Same account as the PC. Test with a disposable file. Guide: sync devices. Clinic and school phones should stay signed out unless policy says otherwise.
Scanner lane
The phone camera is the unsung feature: capture a page, fix typos later in Writer. Keep ID scans local. Do not upload them to a random convert website because the PDF wall appeared.
